Terms & Conditions

The booker must ensure the below requirements are accessible to The Winnie Hoe and her Team to ensure a smooth operation of service. Without access to these requirements, the Booker accepts responsibility that we may not be able to completely meet our obligations as set out in the Invoice and will not be entitled to any refund/compensation for lost of service. 

• Parking for 1 vehicle
• Power supply in the performing space (a minimum of 1 power socket)
• Access to good WiFi/Internet
• Toilet Facilities
• Access to the venue for setting up at least 3 hours prior to the performance. (Setting up time required: 1-2 Hours, Pack down time required: 45 minutes to 1 hour)

•  A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon confirmation of booking.
• This deposit secures the date and time of the performance which will be confirmed in writing (usually e-mail, by The Winnie Hoe Management Team).
• The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, unless the performance is cancelled by the performer, in which case a refund may be issued at The Winnie Hoe Management Teams discretion.
• Changing your booking date, time or venue - If a change of date, time or venue is required, subject to the discretion of The Winnie Hoe Management Team and availability, an admin fee + any additional costs (Increase in mileage, pre-arranged hotel bookings, pre-arrange parking etc) will apply and be immediately payable, otherwise the full deposit will be forfeited and the original booking cancelled. More than 48 hours notice - £45 fee. Less than 48 hours notice - £95 fee. 

•  The remaining balance (50%) must be paid in full no later than 48 working hours prior to the agreed performance date.
• Failure to make this payment on time may result in cancellation of the performance, and the deposit will be forfeited with no reimbursement.

Performance Conditions

For intimate or private settings (e.g., in-home events, restaurants, public areas, or non-traditional venues), the performer retains the right to leave immediately without refund if:

1. The performer is asked to leave,
2. The performer feels unsafe, harassed, or disrespected, or
3. Any member of the public or party involved engages in abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behaviour.

In such cases:

• Full payment remains due, and no refunds will be issued.
• The booker has no grounds to seek compensation, make refund requests, or claim damages for loss of entertainment or for needing to replace the performer.

Booker Liability

• The booker confirms liability and responsibility for any possible damage caused to any equipment provide by the performer. This includes damage caused directly by the booker or their guests. Typical equipment that could be expected to be used by the performer may include; PA Systems, Laptop, Lighting, Merch display props including table and merchandise, Equipment associated with any of the advertised packages listed on TheWinnieHoe.co.uk and special requested items.
• The booker will be invoiced for the damages and full payment is to be completed within 7 days. Failure to do so will result in The Winnie Hoe Management Team pursing any claim via small claims court. Any associated legal fees will be added in addition to any claim. 

•  Any negative, defamatory, or harmful content posted in written, verbal, digital, photographic or video format, including on social media, regarding the performer, especially in situations where the performance is cut short or cancelled due to conduct issues, may result in legal action.
• This clause is enforceable as part of these terms and conditions, and by confirming the booking, the booker agrees to comply fully.

• The performer’s material is intended strictly for entertainment purposes.
• Any offence taken, damages claimed, or grievances arising from performance content are not grounds for any legal, civil, or small claims action against the performer.
• The booker and any attendees acknowledge that the performance may include satirical, adult, or risqué material, and agree not to pursue any liability claims against the performer as a result.
• The performance and its contents cannot be used in conjunction with any criminal, legal, or small claims cases against Winnie Hoe.
